After a long renovation and the last few months of labouring, we are now settling nicely into our new old house as though we've never left. The boy just turned 10 and have his first sleepover ever in his own room/space. We are always looking forward to his Birthday as it comes with the Spring and we all can't wait to Sprung into action again.
This Sunday I will be participating in the Creative Lane Art and Craft Festival organised by Suki Tam .

I have join a group of artists on Flickr to kick start this year with Ring a week project.
This is my first RAW (Ring a week).
The ring has been sitting around for ages unfinished ( in a different state) on the other side of the work bench.
I also have these leafs that I collected 6 months ago and it had not change a bit since. You probably have seen them in a few of my jewelley shots.
I really love the little leaf, the colour and the texture, it just so elegant, the leaf i meant!
And it evolved from there....
I figured out all i need to do is get myself to the work bench and get out of the way at the same time and let the magic happens.
Hopefully i will get inspire, make some incredible rings and have lots of fun along the way........

Let"s give the Queensland people a helping hand when they starting to rebuild their lives after the flood......
There are two etsy appeals running at the moment. Australian Flood Appeal run by the Sydney etsy team, and HANDMADE ARK run by the BriStyle. You can help through donating items, buying items or helping with promotion.
Through January, 10% of SilverMonk's sales in Handmade Canberra's Upmarket will be donated to the QLD Flood Relief Appeal. And the Shop will match all contributions, Lots of other designers are participating too.
Come on Canberra lets shop for a cause!
You can also donate directly to the Premier Flood Relief Appeal
Every bit helps.
